The first Apple Watch Series 10 schematic leak has surfaced with a larger 2-inch display which is bigger than the current Ultra’s display.
Apple Watch Series 10 Will Feature a Larger 2-inch Display and the Rest of the Design Remains Unchanged
If you ever wanted the biggest Apple Watch ever without purchasing the chunky Ultra model, your wish is about to come true later this year. But, if you’re expecting design changes, it’s not happening. In fact, you will be able to use your current bands with the upcoming model with ease which means you don’t have to give up your massive band collection either.
The leak comes from 91Mobiles, and they were able to get their hands on alleged CAD renders of the upcoming Apple Watch Series 10.
The Series 10 will feature a 2-inch display, according to the leak, which is bigger than the Apple Watch Ultra’s 1.93-inch panel and definitely way bigger than the Series 9’s 1.7-inch display. Of course, we can’t discount the fact that this watch will be available in a smaller screen size, as the leak appears to be of the larger model.
The body size is smaller than the current Apple Watch Ultra, measuring in at “46 x 39.7 x 11.6mm.” That’s obviously great news because no one wants to strap a monster sized watch to their wrist.
Now comes the part which no one wants to hear about.
While the Apple Watch Series 10 is going to be a huge watch, the design generally remains unchanged. The Digital Crown and side buttons are exactly where they should be. The casing design remains absolutely unchanged, too. This is the sort of thing you can expect when there is absolutely no competitor to the Apple Watch at all.
I sincerely wish there’s more to this than this leak, and I will highly recommend taking this with extreme skepticism. However, this is all true, get ready for another boring Apple Watch year.
