This year, Apple is going to step things up a notch with many AI related announcements. Apparently, Apple is going to shove AI in a lot of places, allowing you to do things like summarizing webpages in Safari, emails in Mail app, transcribing voice memos and so much more. These features are said to be scattered throughout its ecosystem and it definitely has me excited given how close we are to the actual announcement.

You can watch the entire live stream of the WWDC 2024 event right here:

I am expecting Apple to announce iOS 18 for iPhone, iPadOS 18 for the iPad lineup, watchOS 18 for Apple Watch, tvOS 18 for Apple TV and of course, macOS 15 for the Mac. It remains to be seen which name the company has settled for this year with macOS 15. Who knows it might drop the naming tradition altogether in favor of a version number, just to keep things consistent across the board.

visionOS is definitely going to get some airtime and I am expecting some improvements in this area, too. But, I’m not expecting too much with visionOS since it’s barely 6 months old, and a massive software leap at this point seems a bit unusual. Who knows, it might just happen.

AirPods is said to be getting a great set of feature updates as well. Rumor has it we will be able to use the AirPods as a hearing aid and I’m sure Apple is going to toss in a couple of AI related tricks under the hood, too. If everything is going to get the AI treatment, why shouldn’t the AirPods, right?

Since most of the event is going to revolve around AI, I wonder how Apple plans to one-up everything with actual feature-based announcements.
