Don’t worry, it seems as though Apple Intelligence will be available as part of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 beta before release.
Apple Intelligence Will be Available to Test Out Before iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 are Release Later this Year
I’ve been wondering for quite a while whether or not Apple Intelligence will be available in the initial iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 betas. MacRumors has done some legwork and it turns out, it will be. What this means is, before iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 updates are released later this year, developers and public beta testers will be able to test out Apple Intelligence features.
This is the only news I wanted to hear and I’m glad someone has confirmed it.
The enhanced Siri experience is coming next year as part of the iOS 18.4 update. Honestly, not that interested. I’m more hyped up about how Apple Intelligence will work across iPhone, iPad and Mac devices. That’s the thing I want to see the most.
Apple has made a lot of song and dance about Apple Intelligence and it has definitely made everyone curious. But my relationship with AI is completely indifferent. I’ve tried it all, but never found too much use for it. However, with Apple Intelligence, things could be different given how it will be integrated at a system level. And the fact that I’m deeply invested into the Apple ecosystem.
With features like Writing Tools, Image Playground, notification summaries and so much more, it has to be useful in some way, right? It has to be, honestly. If companies are betting this much on artificial intelligence, it should be life-changing, right?
Guess we’ll find out very soon.
