The HomePod mini is now available in a brand new Midnight color option, and it replaces Space Gray.

Midnight HomePod mini Announced with 100% Recycled Mesh Fabric, Goes on Sale on July 17 for $99

The brand new Midnight finish is made with 100% recycled mesh fabric. If you wanted a HomePod speaker that doesn’t go too hard on the environment, your wish has been granted today. But, do keep in mind that this new color option replaces Space Gray. If you have a Space Gray-related theme going on with your Apple products, then you may want to check it out personally at an Apple Store before making a purchase decision.

Apart from the Midnight color, everything else is absolutely the same. You get the same amazing sounding speaker, Siri, support for playing music through different services, AirPlay, Tap to AirPlay, the ability to detect check temperature, humidity, read fire alarms and so much more. It’s all here but now in a new color option.

The HomePod mini will cost you just $99 and the new color will be available to purchase on July 17 across all Apple Store locations where HomePod mini is officially available. That includes the United States, Canada, China, Singapore and 28 other countries.

It’s pretty interesting Apple chose to release a new color option out of the blue. There is a high chance it’s the most popular choice among buyers and bringing it to the HomePod mini might help with sales.

Though the HomePod mini is an extremely capable speaker, it’s not surprising that it’s not one of Apple’s most popular products. Tell me, how many of your friends and family members own at least one HomePod product compared to AirPods or Apple TV? Exactly. The HomePod mini truly deserves more spotlight and it goes under the radar really swiftly.

I’m totally getting this new color. These speakers are fun and prove to be useful in so many different places.
