iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 is Right on the Horizon, But Beta 3 of iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 is Now Available to Download
The current software lineup has somewhat lost its charm, now that we have iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 out in the wild as developer betas. Nonetheless, Apple is working to ensure the current publicly available software lineup remains as smooth and bug-free as possible. Hence, a while back, the company released beta 3 of iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6, along with other updates for developers to test out.
In order to download and install iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 beta 3 right now, you just have to go to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone and iPad. Make sure you have 50% or more battery life remaining and connected to Wi-Fi. You can sign up to the developer beta and test out the software for free, if you like.
macOS 14.6 beta 3 can also be downloaded over the air. Just go to System Settings > General > Software Update. You will be required to save your files before going ahead with this since a restart will be necessary to install the update.
watchOS 10.6 beta 3 can be downloaded by going to Watch > General > Software Update on your iPhone. Make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi and that your Apple Watch is connected to its magnetic charger.
tvOS 17.6 beta 3 can be downloaded by going to Settings > System > Software Update while visionOS 1.3 beta 3 is available to download from Settings > General > Software Update.
