iOS 18 Beta 4 Introduces New CarPlay Wallpapers – Download them Today for Your iPhone and iPad
The most noticeable change in iOS 18 beta 4 is brand new CarPlay wallpapers. Thankfully, you can download them right now for any device you have, including the iPhone and iPad.
These wallpapers have a resolution of 2,048-by-2,048 pixels, and they’ll fit any display just fine. However, if you have a display as big as the 27-inch iMac, or dealing with resolutions bigger than 4K, then you might notice some artifacts while viewing these wallpapers. You can try to upscale them using tools available online, but I wouldn’t recommend pushing these wallpapers to their limit.
If you are planning to use these wallpapers on an iPhone or some other smartphone, they’ll look great. I’m a huge fan of bright wallpapers and these feel right at home. However, do note that dark mode version of each wallpaper is included here and there are 8 wallpapers here to choose from, too. Lots of choice, really.
You can download the wallpapers from here in full HD quality. I won’t upload every single wallpaper directly on the website else they will lose their quality. I know it’s an extra effort to get them, but in the end it will be totally worth it.
CarPlay in iOS 18 has also been slightly updated. It’s not a huge upgrade, and that’s a good thing, because I don’t want anything to change in CarPlay. It’s great as is. Now that it has brand new wallpapers, it will keep things fresh for another year.
