According to a leaker, Apple is apparently working on a new iOS 17.5.2 update for the iPhone. It’s unknown what the update will bring.

Apple is Working on iOS 17.5.2 for iPhone with Build Number 21F101 – Most Likely a Bug Fix Release

Carrying the build number 21F101 and version number 17.5.2, that is the only information that we have, according to MacRumors. Given how small the update is, it is safe to assume that it will address some security related issues or just fix a few bugs, if needed.

Given iOS 18 beta 3 was released just a while back and Apple throwing all its resources into the next major release of iOS, we shouldn’t expect much from iOS 17.5.2 either. But, the moment it is released, it is highly recommended that everyone goes ahead and install it. This is only applicable to those who aren’t currently testing iOS 18 on their devices.

This may come as a surprise to you, but Apple is actually working on iOS 19 as we speak, and it’s right on schedule, too. Given the company’s big push towards Apple Intelligence, it’s safe to assume the next big update from Cupertino will build on top of the AI features the company has already announced at WWDC 2024.
