According to a brand new report, Apple is going to launch iOS 18.1 beta this week with Apple Intelligence.

iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 Releasing this Week to Developers with Apple Intelligence

Looks like Apple Intelligence isn’t going to be a part of the initial iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 release after all, according to a new report by Bloomberg. The report says Apple is going to release iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 beta this week to developers, and it will include Apple Intelligence.

When iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 is released to the public some time in September, it won’t include Apple Intelligence. The report goes to say iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 will be released to the public in October. The goal here is to complete the development of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 soon as possible and move towards iOS 18.1 with bug fixes, enhancements and of course, Apple Intelligence.

Given how much hype Apple created around its AI features, it is really interesting that it won’t be available with the first public release of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18. But at the same time, I’m glad Apple is not going to release Apple Intelligence. If it’s unfinished software with tons of bugs, I don’t want it, no-one wants it. It’s best Apple adds tons of polish to it before releasing it to the public.
