Apple has just re-released a new version of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 beta 4 for iPhone and iPad. You can download it now.

New iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 Beta 4 with Build Number 22A5316k is Out for Developers

The re-release has a new build number – 22A5316k – and you can download it right now for the iPhone and iPad. It comes just a few days after the original beta 4 build.

It is absolutely unclear what has changed in this new build, but whatever it is, you should go ahead and install it right now on your iPhone and iPad. You can do that by going to Settings > General > Software Update and tap on ‘Update Now’ when the new beta 4 build shows up.

Given how quickly Apple has pushed out this new build, the changes under the hood must be important. There’s a chance Apple patched an extremely critical security issue that simply couldn’t be left lingering around. Then again, I could be wrong.

If there’s anything new or noteworthy in this build, I will talk about it.

iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 beta 4 do not include Apple Intelligence, and I don’t see the feature coming for another beta or two. Though Apple is busy in the background keeping interest high among developers, it would be nice if we had an official time-line for its release.
