Apple has made some design improvements to the internals of the iPhone 16 that will help with overheating issues.
Latest Report Suggests Apple has Made Important Design Changes in iPhone 16 that Will Help with Overheating Issues
The report comes from The Information, and they claim the iPhone 16 will use a larger graphite sheet inside that will help with overheating issues. If you’re wondering why this change has been made, just recall the iPhone 15 Pro in its earlier days where the phone got insanely hot and had to be managed with software updates. This time, Apple is not taking any chances at all and instead making internal changes to ensure better heat management.
This little change will also help the iPhone 16 with sustained performance. Take a look at iOS 18 and its new Game Mode. If Apple is going to squeeze out a lot of performance from its flagship phone for extended periods of time, it needs better thermal management and this change should help with that.
So far, the iPhone 16 is shaping up to be an interesting phone. From fast charging to the speedy A18 chip, I’m excited what Apple has in store for us later this year. And the thing I’m excited about the most is the camera system. At the time of writing, the camera system on the iPhone is so good, it’s hard to imagine how Apple will one-up its current lineup. With the iPhone 15 Pro, it was the inclusion of ProRes Log, maybe an improved telephoto camera with a wider aperture will do the trick.
