Apple has shared a short film called Suerte on its YouTube channel, and it was shot entirely on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
This Entire Short Film was Shot on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Includes Amazing Behind the Scenes Video, too
Sure, you can praise an expensive full-frame camera with an even more expensive lens all you want for video, but when it comes to quick and snappy work, the iPhone wins every single time. The convenience of being cable to slide the iPhone out of the pocket and starting shooting a video cannot be matched using a full-size camera. Add in the fact that iPhone now shoots Dolby Vision video and added features like Cinematic mode with focus racking is simply an icing on the cake.
Apple shared a short film Suerte that was shot entirely on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the film beautifully shows off features being used to make it all happen, including the 5x telephoto lens, focus racking in Cinematic mode and more.

Shooting a film like this would demand renting expensive equipment over ten years ago, but now you have everything in your pocket. See, the thing is, you don’t have to invest in a ton of new gear to get started with videography. Your iPhone, or even your Android, is good enough to get you started and you can always work your way up when required.
Short films like Suerte serve as great inspiration to start making content using the gear you already have. You may not know it, but your smartphone, whatever you have, is more powerful than you think. Don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise.
