Vision Pro is finally available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. Are you buying one?

Apple Vision Pro Headset Launches in More Countries, Now Available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and United Kingdom

Initially, the Vision Pro was available in the United States only. At WWDC 2024, Apple announced its plan to bring the headset to more countries starting with China, Japan and Singapore. Now that these countries have been enjoying the Vision Pro for quite some time, those living in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom can walk into an Apple Store and pick up a headset for themselves, too.

Of course, the pricing immediately gets you, with the Vision Pro starting at an eye-watering $4,999 in Canada. This price is without taxes, so you can imagine how much money you’ll be paying for first-generation technology. But, the moment you try on the headset, it suddenly becomes worth it.

Apparently, Apple is not seeing the amount of traction it wanted with the headset. And the company knows why – the pricing. That’s why we’ve been hearing news that Apple is working on a cheaper version of the Vision headset that will require an iPhone and Mac to work, will have slightly lower resolution displays and more.

If Apple manages to sell the new Vision headset at a price under $1,999, it will be a massive hit. Until then, we have to deal with the Pro model.
