According to an extremely concise report, the AirPods Pro 3 are set to feature active noise canceling ‘way better’ than the current model.
AirPods Pro 3 to Feature Way Better Noise Canceling Compared to AirPods Pro 2, According to Leaker
Kosutami on X has a solid track record, and according to the leaker, the AirPods Pro 3 are said to perform way better in terms of noise canceling compared to the current second-generation model. While the report may hype things up for those waiting for a new pair of AirPods, but there’s a small problem.
The thing is, all the leaks and reports say Apple is going to announce AirPods 4 at its Glowtime event. Apparently, Apple is going to release two versions of the AirPods 4, too. There has been no mention of AirPods Pro 3 so far, though some do believe it could make an appearance alongside the iPhone 16.
The leaker says the AirPods Pro 3 are ‘coming soon.’ If you dig deep into older reports, we can expect the AirPods Pro to get a refresh in 2025. So, not soon enough, I suppose. But hey, I’m all up for surprises if there are any in September.
However, if you’ve been looking into buying a new pair of AirPods Pro, I will suggest holding back for just a few more days. Apple is going to announce everything on September 9th, if the new AirPods Pro are a part of the announcements, consider yourself lucky, else just go ahead and buy the USB-C AirPods Pro.
Personally, I believe Apple is only going to announce the new AirPods 4 with USB-C with a bunch of other small tweaks. Though reports suggest the higher-end AirPods 4 will feature noise canceling, it will be interesting to see how they compare to the AirPods Pro. Will the noise canceling model have an in-ear design? What’s the thing that will differentiate them the most compared to the Pro lineup?
I have way too many questions and all of them are going to be answered on September 9th.
