It’s official. The iPhone 16 is going to be announced on the 9th of September in an event called ‘Glowtime.’

iPhone 16, AirPods, Apple Watches – All Coming on the 9th of September in Special Event Called ‘Glowtime’

As you’d expect, this event is going to be held in Apple Park at the Steve Jobs Theater on the 9th of September. We don’t have to play the guessing game anymore, but we do have to play the waiting game now and count days until the new iPhone is announced.

This event was a long time coming and we’ve been hearing this date from time to time, or at least close to it. Now that it’s all official, we can finally look forward to the things Apple is going to announce.

First and foremost, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro are definitely coming. This year, the company is expected to announce the new devices with strict focus on Apple Intelligence. Apart from that, expect some major camera improvmeents too.

Apple Watch will also be the headline of the event. I am expecting the company to announce the Apple Watch Series 10, which is expected to be slightly larger than the Series 9. Those who wanted a bigger display on Apple Watch, but didn’t like the Ultra should be pleased with this upgrade.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 is also going to be released this year. If rumors and reports are anything to be believed, it looks as though we’re not getting any cosmetic change at all in this product line. But hey, if Apple decides to make the Titanium finish a little darker and present it as a second option, I’m all up for it.

AirPods 4 are also rumored to be announced at the iPhone 16 Glowtime event, too. And it seems as though Apple is going to launch two versions of the AirPods 4 – basic ones and ones with noise canceling. I like my AirPods better when the lineup isn’t complicated at all. But who knows Apple has something in the pipeline that makes more sense.

As an Apple fan, I’m genuinely excited this year. The iPhone is a given announcement, but Apple does throw in a surprise or two at times. Let’s see what is it going to be this year. Save the date for it – it’s September 9th.
