If you use ChatGPT on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, you can now create two images per day absolutely free using text prompts.
Free Version of ChatGPT Now Lets Users Create up to Two Images per Day Using DALL-E 3
Creating images using text prompts in ChatGPT is a feature that is exclusive to paid subscribers and it costs $20 a month. However, starting today, free users can get a small taste of it by creating up to two images for free per day. These images are created using OpenAI’s DALL-E 3.
If you’ve always wanted to create images using ChatGPT without signing up to ChatGPT Plus, this is a great way to do it. But, I’m sure the limit of two images per day might seem a little a shallow, but it truly is something that will work out for those who might need an image or two from time to time – no need to shell out $20.
I know this is a great little addition to ChatGPT, but I will instead recommend everyone to try out Microsoft Copilot or Meta AI instead. Both are absolutely free and you can definitely create more than two images per day, too.
ChatGPT integration is coming to the iPhone, iPad and Mac later this year with iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1 updates. But, you might not need it to generate images since Apple is doing it for you using the official Image Playground app right on your device. And again, since services like Copilot and Meta AI exists, I don’t see the reason why you would want to use the free version of ChatGPT.
