tvOS 18 Beta 8 Now Available for Download with Even More Bug Fixes and Stability Improvements
Those testing out tvOS 18 beta 7 will be pleased to learn that beta 8 is now available for download. Though the feature-set is close to none, but that doesn’t mean you leave it in the dark when it comes to prioritizing it. In order to download and install tvOS 18 beta 8, here’s what you need to do:
- Launch the ‘Settings’ app on your Apple TV.
- Scroll all the way down and open ‘System.’
- Now open ‘Software Update.’
- Install tvOS 18 beta 8 from here.
What makes tvOS 18 so important is how it ties in with HomeKit. Many people don’t realize it, but whenever you access your home security camera or smart bulb while away from home, your Apple TV and HomePod makes the connection happen. Without it, it’s not possible.
With every new tvOS 18 update, every single thing on your Apple TV gets a dose of stability and improvement. This means you should see improved performance in your Apple smart home setup whenever a new tvOS 18 update arrives. Though the change might be negligible, but it’s always there.
