macOS Sequoia 15.0 public beta 5 is finally available for everyone to test out. Here’s how you can download and install it.
macOS Sequoia Public Beta 5 is Now Available for Download – Install it Now for Major Bug Fixes
The non-Apple Intelligence version of macOS Sequoia – 15.0 – has just received an update, if you are a public beta tester. Now at public beta 5, macOS Sequoia is more bug-free than yesterday and I urge you to download the update right away if you want to enjoy a stable experience on your Mac.
Here’s how you need to do in order to install it:
- Launch the ‘System Settings’ app from Spotlight or the Apple drop-down in the menu bar.
- Click on ‘General’ and then go to ‘Software Update.’
- Once the page is done refreshing, the new macOS Sequoia 15.0 public beta 5 update will show up and you can download it immediately.
Here’s the tip that will come in handy – if you don’t see the update in the first go, you can refresh the Software Update page by pressing the Command+R key combination on the keyboard. Bet you didn’t know about this, right? Now you do.
We are extremely close to the full and final version of macOS Sequoia. The initial rollout will be of version 15.0 and 15.1 will rollout a few weeks later. The latter is going to be particularly interesting since it has all the Apple Intelligence goodness for everyone to try out.
Apart from that, iPhone Mirroring is going to keep a lot of users busy for a long time. It’s a lazy person’s dream feature – the ability to access and use your iPhone right on your Mac and it’s extremely surprising that Apple is actually making it happen on day one. Such features usually aren’t ready and take months to roll out.
