Original Macintosh, Intel iMac and the Apple Silicon iMac – Download the Macintosh Wallpaper Pack Today

I’m a huge fan of the Mac and I have a special place in my heart for the iMac. Sure, the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro is where the fun’s at, but the good old desktop is the place where you get to use macOS at its finest, not a tiny display.

I wanted to showcase my fondness for Apple’s desktop in some way. It all started with the inspiration from the original Macintosh – the computer that changed the way we look at personal computing today. The moment you look at the computer, you are greeted with the plastic casing and its superb vintage colors, hence the gradient that mimics said casing. And of course, you can’t have an Apple computer without a splash of colors from the vintage logo, right? That went in, too – front and center.

The second wallpaper in the Macintosh pack is the Intel iMac – or more specifically, the last Intel iMac. From the glossy display to the aluminum finish, it still is peak Apple design where glass meets metal. When creating this wallpaper, the reflection at the top was absolutely necessary so was the slight grain on the aluminum chin at the bottom. This wallpaper feels perfect on any modern iPhone with OLED display.

Last in the pack is the 24-inch iMac collection. It features all seven colors of the Apple silicon iMac. I wanted them to be extremely minimal like the computer itself After giving it a hard thought, I realized, it probably doesn’t need anything at all, except a buttery smooth gradient that goes from the darkest shade to the brightest. Adding something to this collection would have ruined it.

You can download the entire Macintosh wallpaper pack in full quality here. All of the wallpapers are made for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, hence they will fit any smaller iPhone just fine. Remember, pinch out while setting these wallpapers up so that they fit the display perfectly. I have no idea why iOS prefers to zoom into the wallpapers a little by default.

And oh, before you head out, check out my Wallpapers section. I try to post as regularly as possible and you’ll definitely find something interesting.
