Update Your Apple TV to the Latest tvOS 18 Beta 7 for Stability Improvements and Bug Fixes
Stability is key and that is what tvOS 18 beta 7 is all about. If you are currently testing the beta, you need to download the latest build as soon as possible. Beta 7 brings with it a handful of improvements and bug fixes, something you clearly need if you use your Apple TV for consuming content on the big screen.
This is what you need to do in order to install the latest beta right now:
- Launch the ‘Settings’ app from the tvOS Home Screen.
- Go to ‘System.’
- Now open ‘Software Update.’
- Install tvOS 18 beta 7 right away.
Once the update is installed, go ahead and start using your Apple TV as you normally would. Hopefully, if you were having issues with beta 6 of tvOS 18, this update should fix most of them. Do keep in mind we will see proper stability when the full and final update is released later this year alongside updates to third-party apps.
Do you use TV+ a lot? Maybe a little too much? Then tvOS 18 is going to interest you with a feature called InSight. When in action, tvOS will show you information about the artist on screen. It’s a great little feature to have, especially if you are extremely invested in a particular show or movie.
