iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 beta 3 is now available with Apple Intelligence. Alongside that update, Apple also released iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 beta 8 for iPhone and iPad. If you’ve been testing out the software and currently have beta 7 installed, you might want to download the new version right away.
You can initiate the download by first making sure you’re connected to a Wi-Fi network or 5G. If you are, then follow the steps below:
- Launch the ‘Settings’ app.
- Go to General > Software Update.
- Tap on ‘Update Now’ when iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 beta 8 shows up for download.
The update won’t take that long to install, but it is important that you download it right away to ensure everything runs smoothly on your iPhone and iPad. The new iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 beta is packed with bug fixes and other enhancements, which means you get a ton of stability in this release. However, like I always say, third-party app support may still be broken, but first party software should be extremely stable at this point.
