iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max battery capacity has been leaked online and it’s a decent upgrade over the current Pro models.
Apple is Giving the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max a Battery Capacity Boost, According to Latest Leak from Weibo
It’s always nice to see bigger battery make their way onto new devices. The new leak from Weibo confirms that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are indeed getting battery capacity upgrades this year. If you compare the capacity to the current iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphones, the difference is actually quite big.
According to the leak, the iPhone 16 Pro will have a battery capacity of 3,577mAh compared to 3,274mAh on the iPhone 15 Pro. While the iPhone 16 Pro Max will ship with a 4,676mAh battery, compared to 4,422mAh in the iPhone 15 Pro Max. If you want to take the comparison even further, the standard iPhone 15 features a 3,349mAh battery while the iPhone 15 Plus has a 4,383mAh battery.
At this point, there’s a lot of information available regarding the iPhone 16 Pro lineup. We know what colors it will be available in, and will apparently come in a new bronze finish. We also know that it will ship with the A18 Pro chip while the standard models will feature the A18. Wi-Fi 7 support is also said to be on the cards, and it would be great if true.
While there are a ton of things we already know, we are still over a month away from the official launch of the entire lineup. There is time for more leaks to arrive and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see more of it on the weekend, especially when the news is slow.
One thing everyone should be excited about is how the entire lineup will have support for Apple Intelligence, thanks to 8GB of RAM across the board and more advanced chips. It will be interesting to see how it will compare to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro in terms of performance in things like daily tasks and gaming.
