It keeps on getting better – the 2025 iPhone SE will include an OLED display and will support Apple Intelligence.
Apple iPhone SE 2025 to Include OLED Display, Apple Intelligence and Possibly Under $500 Starting Price
Apple is going big with iPhone this year with its iPhone 16 lineup as it includes a handful of interesting changes. Mark Gurman shared information regarding the upcoming iPhone SE as well in his recent Power On newsletter and it is shaping up to be quite an interesting little phone.
First of all, all rumors point towards the new iPhone SE featuring an OLED display and Gurman shares information that it truly is the case. It is going to be the first SE smartphone from Apple to have an OLED display. A shift in technology means support for HDR content that will be a huge upgrade for people who have been using LED display phones to this day.
The report also says the iPhone SE will include support for Apple Intelligence which immediately makes me believe the phone will have at least 8GB of RAM and possibly the A18 chip from iPhone 16. I’m basing this guess on past iPhone releases, nothing else.
The new iPhone SE is said to be launching in the beginning of 2025 with a price point of under $500. If buying an iPhone with AI is your primary goal, then the new SE is shaping up to be an interesting smartphone.
It is believed that the new iPhone SE is going into mass production this October. Other rumors say the phone will have a 48-megapixel camera, USB-C, Face ID and more.
