I’m a sucker for minimal apps on iPhone. If the app goes above and beyond in terms of features, I don’t want to use it as it can get overwhelming at times. When I came across Neuecast, I had to share it with you guys because it’s exactly what I seek in an app – minimalism and perfection.
In simple words, Neuecast is one of the simplest podcast app you’ll ever come across. The primary aim is to get you to your favorite podcast with the least amount of hoops. The app is designed to be extremely minimal as well.
You can customize the app in key areas to your liking and keep it that way going forward. This includes what theme you want to use – light or dark. You also get to choose the layout of the playback controls. You can also select custom swipe options and more.
Since this is a podcast app, you get access to all of your favorite podcasts in one place. As new episodes arrive, they will show up in your library. Once you start using the app more you will start seeing real-time metrics regarding your listening habits, too.

It’s extremely rare an app manages to do it all with the least amount of features. Neuecast sticks to the basics and I hope it stays that way in future updates to the app.
