Apple has released the first developer beta of visionOS 2.1 for Vision Pro users. You can download it today.

Vision Pro Users Can Now Download visionOS 2.1 Beta Right Away

Vision Pro uses can go ahead and download the first beta of visionOS 2.1 on their headset. However, you must be a registered developer with Apple in order to do that and the steps for downloading the new update is the same as any other visionOS beta.

First of all, you have to make sure you are signed up to the Apple Developer Program using your Apple Account. Once done, go to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and then choose the Developer beta from here.

Once done, the update will be pushed to you over the air and you can take it for a spin as much as you like. And once again, do keep in mind there’s no public beta of visionOS at all. If someone claims there is, just walk the other way.

It’s highly likely Apple is going to release the full and final version of visionOS 2.1 in October alongside other software such as iOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1.
