According to a new report, the Apple Watch Series 10 is going to feature sleep apnea detection.
Apple Watch Series 10 will be Larger, Thinner and Will Also Feature Sleep Apnea Detection
According to a latest repot by Bloomberg, the Apple Watch Series 10 is going to have an interesting surprise up its sleeve. First of all, it is going to be ‘noticeably thinner.’ If you’ve been waiting for a thinner Apple Watch, this is your year to shine.
Do keep in mind the Series 10 is said to come in a slightly larger case size compared to the Series 9. Therefore a larger display with a thinner body is definitely going to be a welcome change this time around.
Secondly, the Series 10 is said to feature sleep apnea detection. But, there is a small catch – the feature might not be available at launch and may arrive later as a software update to watchOS.
However, with the feature enabled, the wearer can go to sleep with sleep tracking enabled and the Apple Watch will determine if sleep apnea has been detected. Obviously, Series 10 is not going to be a cure for anything, hence it will ask the wearer to visit a doctor, if needed.
When it comes to design, the Series 10 is going to be eerily similar to the Series 9. However, with a larger display size and a noticeably thinner body, I’m sure it will manage to find a lot of potential buyers. That display size increase alone is enough to make people upgrade their existing watches.
Series 10 is also said to feature a faster processor compared to the Series 9. I’m not sure how Apple is going to fit in more performance this time given how good the Series 9 already is. But if improved performance is on its way, who am I to complain.
