Apple didn’t announce the Apple Watch Ultra 3, but we do get the Apple Watch Ultra 2 in a brand new Satin Black finish.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 Announced in New Satin Black Finish – Here’s Everything You Need to Know

Well, it’s better than nothing at all, right?

The color is officially called ‘Black Titanium’ but Apple called it satin black in its keynote for some reason. Either way, it’s the same color and it looks stunning.

However, despite the new color, nothing about the Apple Watch Ultra 2 has changed. It features the same design, the same features, the same accurate GPS superpowers, the same durability, the same 72 hours of battery life Low Power Mode and more.

If you are out and about and don’t find yourself to be a fan of the regular Titanium finish, the new Black Titanium should lure you in. That black finish actually compliments the orange Action button and ring around the Digital Crown very well. It amazes me why Apple didn’t launch this color last year alongside the Ultra 2.

There is a small surprise which Apple tossed in the lineup – that’s the new Apple Watch Hermès Ultra 2 which costs $1,399. Sure, it’s expensive, but you get exclusive features such as a premium band as well as an exclusive watch face. What more can you ask for, right?

Last but not the least, Apple is introducing a brand new Milanese Loop for the Apple Watch Ultra. It will be available in both Black and Natural Titanium finishes, allowing you to pair it with the right color. And to ensure proper pairing with the already-available bands, the Trail Loop, Alpine Loop and Ocean Band are available in a darker finish to perfectly match the black Ultra 2.

The black Ultra 2 costs $799, you can pre-order it today and it will be available on the 20th of September.
