It’s iPhone 16 day, which means you can walk into an Apple Store and one up. However, there’s something you should keep in mind.
Before You Walk out of the Apple Store with that iPhone 16, Make Sure You Get Your Apple Stickers and Charger
Today is just like any other day except you can now pick up your iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro straight from the Apple Store. However, before you do that, there are a couple of things you should do at the time of pickup.
Request an Apple Sticker
With iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, Apple is dropping the sticker from the retail box. However, if you request for an Apple sticker at the store, they’ll give it to you. So please, before you walk out of the store, ask for that sticker. At this point, it’s tradition to get them and you don’t want to miss out.
Don’t Forget to Pick up a Charger
iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro do not ship with a charger in the box, which means you have to either use the one you already have or buy a brand new one.
Apple sells a bunch of great options when it comes to chargers, and the new iPhones actually support faster wired charging speeds, too. If you’re taking the wireless route, you can grab the new 25W MagSafe Charger. While doing so, you need to buy a 30W USB-C charger for it as well.
However, I believe the Apple 20W USB-C charger is more than enough for most people out there. It’s not slow, it’s not fast, it will help preserve battery health, and best of all – it’s compact. And oh, it costs just $19, straight from Apple.
Anything Else
Buying a case or screen protector is entirely up to you and usually a personal preference at this point. If you are planning to keep your new iPhone 16 with you for a long period of time then it makes sense to spend extra money on some sort of protection. Apple’s very-own silicone cases are some of the best around while third-party cases tend to good the job done, too.
