Buying a factory unlocked iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max in the US? Here is the complete price list.

Buying a Factory Unlocked iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro? Check the Prices for All Storage Tiers in the United States Right Here

The great thing about this year’s iPhone lineup is this – the price hasn’t changed at all. If you compare the entire lineup to the iPhone 15 from last year, absolutely nothing has changed, not even storage tiers. This also means the iPhone 16 Pro still starts at 128GB of base storage, unlike what the rumors had suggested.

While most people prefer to buy the iPhone from their carrier on a contract basis, but buying a factory unlocked model has its advantages. For example, you get complete cellular freedom, allowing you to move from one carrier to the other without any sort of restrictions.

You can take a factory unlocked iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro anywhere in the world and it will work on any carrier, as long as they support eSIM. Why eSIM? Because all models sold in the United States are eSIM only. Everywhere else Apple is going to sell physical + eSIM models.

So, if you have decided to buy a factory unlocked iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro, here is the complete price list of each model:

Note: The following prices do not include tax.

Factory Unlocked iPhone 16 Price

  • 128GB iPhone 16 – $799
  • 256GB iPhone 16 – $899
  • 512GB iPhone 16 – $1,099

Factory Unlocked iPhone 16 Plus Price

  • 128GB iPhone 16 Plus – $899
  • 256GB iPhone 16 Plus – $999
  • 512GB iPhone 16 Plus – $1,199

Factory Unlocked iPhone 16 Pro Price

  • 128GB iPhone 16 Pro – $999
  • 256GB iPhone 16 Pro – $1,099
  • 512GB iPhone 16 Pro – $1,299
  • 1TB iPhone 16 Pro – $1,499

Factory Unlocked iPhone 16 Pro Max Price

  • 256GB iPhone 16 Pro Max – $1,199
  • 512GB iPhone 16 Pro Max – $1,399
  • 1TB iPhone 16 Pro Max – $1,599

The cheapest iPhone in the lineup will cost you $799 while the most expensive one is $1,599. While this pricing is solid, do keep in mind some decisions are going to be tougher than others to make. For example, the 512GB iPhone 16 Plus costs as much as a 256GB iPhone 16 Pro Max. The same goes for the 256GB iPhone 16 and the 128GB iPhone 16 Pro. You’ll find plenty of overlapping pricing in the above list.

While buying an iPhone, just prioritize exactly what you need. If you want the most amount of storage for the least amount of price, then buying the standard iPhone 16 is the way to go. However, if you want the latest features above all else then getting the iPhone 16 Pro makes more sense.

Whichever iPhone you end up getting is entirely your choice. But, do make sure you double-check the pricing before placing that pre-order this Friday.
