The official release date of the full and final version of tvOS 18 update for Apple TV has just been revealed.

On the 16th of September, just a few days from now, you can go ahead and download the final version of tvOS 18 software update on your Apple TV. On that particular day, just head over to Settings > System > Software Updates > Update Software and you’ll be on Apple’s latest software update in no time. Once installed, you can start enjoying the new features tvOS 18 brings to the Apple TV, including InSight for TV+.
If you have been testing out tvOS 18 beta on your Apple TV, you shouldn’t even worry about the final release as you can go right ahead and download tvOS 18 RC onto your device. It’s the final version with all the polish you’d expect from Apple’s final software. The same software will be available to compatible Apple TV devices around the world.
