You can now download and install macOS Sequoia 15.2 beta 1 for the Mac with new Apple Intelligence features.

macOS Sequoia 15.2 Beta 1 Released with More Apple Intelligence Features, Download and Install Today

Apple is going to unleash macOS Sequoia 15.1 next week with a handful of AI features including Writing Tools and more. Today, the company has seeded macOS Sequoia 15.2 beta 1 for developers with new Apple Intelligence features including ChatGPT support, Image Playground and more.

Just like any other beta, you can download this one over the air. Make sure you’re signed up to the Apple Developer Program first. Once you have, launch ‘System Settings,’ click on ‘General,’ then open up ‘Beta Updates.’ Select ‘macOS Sequoia 15.2 Developer Beta’ from the list of software available to test out. That’s all.

Same rules apply and nothing has changed – you need a compatible Mac in order to test this beta out and its new Apple Intelligence features. This means you must have an Apple silicon Mac else you’re not getting anything at all.

Since this is the first-ever beta of macOS Sequoia 15.2, therefore I will recommend installing it on a spare Mac or something that is not your daily driver. Initial betas are usually riddled with the strangest of bugs, including those that negatively affect your device’s battery.

Proceed with caution, that’s my whole point.

Though Apple Intelligence is the highlight of this update, once again, but I am going to look for other features that are worth talking about. It’s going to be a while before each and every single new thing reveals itself, so be patient.

Do keep in mind Apple is going to release this beta for public beta testers as well in the near future. Currently, it’s only available for developers, that too with Apple silicon Macs only. If you were hoping to get a taste of the bug fixes this update brings with it on your Intel Mac, you may want to dial back on those dreams.
