After playing around with wallpaper ideas I have come to realize how difficult it is to create a certain type of wallpaper for iPhone. Mainly because iOS 18 wants to maintain legibility of things around the Dynamic Island. And, in order to do so, it may blur the top portion of the wallpaper you have on.
When I was making ‘The Window’ wallpaper pack, I realized this was going to be a huge problem, so I had to make the ‘window’ smaller and smaller until iOS 18 thought it no longer has to blur the wallpaper from the top.
While the smaller window does come close to the look I wanted to achieve, but it’s not exactly perfect. I wish there was more space between the window and the clock plus the widgets. I wanted to go as close to the Dynamic Island with the window as possible, but it was just not happening.
But hey, nothing’s ever perfect in the world of tech, right?
However, if you do want to achieve a very minimal look using this wallpaper pack, get rid of the widgets from around the clock.
You can download the wallpaper in full quality from this link. If you feel iOS 18 is trying to blur the wallpaper from the top, try to pinch out and see if it corrects the issue. You may have to try several times to get things right.
