Apple has just released visionOS 2.1 beta 6 and you can download and install it on your Vision Pro right away.

visionOS 2.1 Beta 6 Now Available for Download with Bug Fixes and Other Improvements

Installing the new visionOS 2.1 beta 6 is super-easy and here’s what you need to do: Launch Settings, go to General, then Software Update. Download the available update from here.

If you have been testing out visionOS 2.1 beta 5, then you should install the update right away as it brings stability related improvements to the Vision Pro.

Rumor says the full and final version of Apple’s beta software will become available for download in 10 days. If that is true, then the RC version of the updates should arrive next week.

While new software is fun, the thing that really gets me the most is the lack of Apple Intelligence on the Vision Pro. Apple hasn’t shared any plans regarding this at all. There’s even a cache Apple Intelligence might not happen on the Vision Pro. Instead, Apple may just launch a new headset with all the AI features.

This would be an extremely strange move from Apple, if true. But, given how things are going forward, it seems highly likely, too. Your $3,499 headset may not get the best-ever software feature of the year, and that’s just sad.
