According to a very solid source, iOS 18.0.1 and iPadOS 18.0.1 software update is releasing very, very soon.
iOS 18.0.1 with Build Number 22A3370 Releasing Very Soon with Tons of Bug Fixes for iPhone and iPad Users
iOS 18.0.1 is very real and has been showing up in logs for a while. However, a private account on X has chimed in and says the release of the update is imminent and it carries a build number of 22A3370. Said account has a very good track record when it comes to these things, therefore it’s fine to accept the news at face value.
At this point, it’s safe to say this is going to be a bug-fix release. Given how things stand in iOS 18.0 and iPadOS 18.0, it’s badly needed, too. From M4 iPad Pro getting bricked to watch faces crashing the Messages app, there are all sorts of weird things happening.
These are only some of the bugs we know about. There are most likely tons of them just waiting to be found. Hopefully, Apple’s latest update will address most of these issues in one go.
I will not recommend relying on iOS 18.0.1 completely for the ultimate patch. iOS 18.1 is coming later this month and everyone should look forward to that the most. Apple will address more issues as time goes on, but iOS 18.1 is extremely important for all sorts of reasons, one of them being Apple Intelligence.
I’m going to assume Apple is going to release the bug-fix update this week. If it delays it to the next on, it won’t be a good move at all.
