Apple is working on a smart home camera and a pair of AirPods with health-focused features, according to a fresh report.
Report Says Apple is Working on a Smart Home Camera and AirPods with Health Features
Cupertino is working on a bunch of different products for release, and one of them is a smart home display with Apple Intelligence features.
However, it seems as though there are more products to look forward to.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is working on two brand-new products for release in the future. One of those products is a smart home camera with artificial intelligence features.
Smart Home Camera
The report says the camera will have built-in Apple Intelligence and Siri features. I’m sure those features will be used to identify people and objects at best.
I’m pretty sure Kuo is not confusing the smart home display with the smart camera here. If true, this is going to be the best-ever smart camera you can buy since it will integrate perfectly with the Apple ecosystem.
The camera is said to come out sometime in 2026, the same year it will go into mass production.
With Apple Intelligence features under the hood, the camera is going to be perfect for those who look forward to creating unique automations.
AirPods with Health Features
The second product Apple is working on is AirPods with health-related features.
At this point in time, it’s no secret that Apple wants to go big with health features with AirPods. Only recently, it announced Hearing Health features for the AirPods Pro 2.
Though not mentioned in the report, the new AirPods will likely include a sensor to take heart-rate measurements during a workout. Apart from that, it’s hard to speculate what other features Apple may throw into the mix.
However, it remains to be seen how it will work alongside Apple Watch, since that device is tasked with a ton of things. The AirPods just can’t walk in and replace Apple Watch for a feature that’s already there.
We can expect the new AirPods to come out sometime in 2026 as well.
