You can now download and install beta 3 of tvOS 18.2 and visionOS 2.2 for Apple TV and Vision Pro.
Apple Releases tvOS 18.2 Beta 3 and visionOS 2.2 Beta 3 for Apple TV and Vision Pro
It’s Monday which means Apple is going to be releasing some new betas. And right on cue, the company has seeded beta 3 of tvOS 18.2 and visionOS 2.2.
In order to download and install tvOS 18.2 right now, just turn on your Apple TV, go to Settings > System > Software Update. Download the update from here.
When it comes to visionOS 2.2 beta 3, all you have to do is launch the Settings app on your Vision Pro and then go to General > Software Update.
Though new betas are always expected at the start of the week but it’s strange that Apple hasn’t released the fourth beta of iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2 and macOS 15.2 so far. There’s a chance it might do so in a couple of hours.
It would be rather strange if it doesn’t release it at all today.
tvOS 18.2 is mainly a bug-fix release, but VisionOS 2.2 is big on one key feature – support for ultra-wide Mac Virtual Display. It’s the one feature many Vision Pro users have been waiting for, and it’s extremely close to the final release.
