iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 Beta 2 Now Available with Image Playground, Genmoji, and more for iPhone and iPad.
Of all the betas that I have seen for iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, it’s safe to say iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 are the most exciting ones. They’re packed with great new Apple Intelligence features and ones which everyone must be anxious to get their hands on.
For now, the developer beta 2 of iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 is available for download. If you have an iPhone and iPad that supports the update, you should install the latest build right now.
Here’s what you need to do:
- First and foremost, make sure you have 50% or more battery on your device.
- Connect to Wi-Fi by going to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Now go to Settings > General > Software Update.
- Tap on ‘Update Now’ when iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 beta 2 shows up.
If you are installing iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 for the first time, be sure to check this out.
Beta 2 is available for all iPhone and iPad devices that support iOS 18.0 and iPadOS 18.0. However, Apple Intelligence features are only limited to devices that support it.
At the time of writing, the public beta of the update isn’t available either. But I’m sure Apple will release the update for devices that do not support Apple Intelligence and, of course, a public beta for those who want to test out the update.
Rumor has it that Apple is going to release the new 18.2 update in the first week of December. Given how fast time flies by, the wait isn’t going to be that long either.
For iPhone and iPad users, the new iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 updates will introduce the ultimate Apple Intelligence features. On-device image generation will become possible using Image Playground, and a smarter Siri with support for ChatGPT will also be a part of this update.
For iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro users, Visual Intelligence will become available exclusively. The ability to just point your phone’s camera at something and get answers is finally going to be a native feature.
