Apple has released beta 2 of macOS Sequoia 15.2 for the Mac, with new Apple Intelligence features including Image Playground.

macOS Sequoia 15.2 Beta 2 Now Available for Download with Bug-Fixes and Improvements for Mac

macOS Sequoia 15.2 is an extremely important update when it comes to Apple Intelligence. It takes Apple’s artificial intelligence endeavors to the next level with the introduction of new features such as Siri with ChatGPT support, Image Playground, and more.

Today, the second beta of macOS Sequoia 15.2 is available for download, which means we are one step closer to the final release in the first week of December. And updating is rather easy as well.

Here’s what you need to do:

  • Connect your Mac to a fast Wi-Fi network.
  • Launch ‘System Settings.’
  • Go to General > Software Update.
  • Wait for the page to refresh. When beta 2 of macOS Sequoia 15.2 shows up, download it.

The installation may take a while, and it’s recommended that you do not tinker around with your Mac until everything is complete. Once done, you can start using your Mac normally but with more stability than before.

If there are noticeable changes in this update, I will highlight them in a separate blog post, so make sure you are on a lookout for that. Chances are low that Apple moved things around way too much in this update; the company does such a thing when it comes to iOS and iPadOS more.

If you are planning to install the beta update, please know that it is currently available for developers only. If you are attempting to install the update and can’t see it in General > Software Update, please know that it won’t show up if you are using a Mac that does not support Apple Intelligence.

I urge everyone to install beta 2 of macOS 15.2 right now, as the first beta didn’t turn out to be a smooth ride at all. The same happened with iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 as well. The initial beta was a messy update with tons of issues, especially when it came to overall performance.
