Vision Pro users must go ahead and download the visionOS 2.1.1 software update right away.

Apple Releases visionOS 2.1.1 Software Update for Vision Pro with Bug Fixes

Just like iOS 18.1.1, iPadOS 18.1.1, and macOS 15.1.1, Apple has released VisionOS 2.1.1 for Vision Pro users with security patches.

If you value your privacy a lot, then it is highly recommended that you go ahead and install the new visionOS 2.1.1 update right away.

In order to do that, just go to Settings > General > Software Update and install the latest update from here.

The installation may take a while to complete, therefore, leave your headset on a table until the update is done.

Although visionOS 2.1.1 is available for download right now, do keep in mind visionOS 2.2 is still on track for release sometime in December.

The new 2.2 update is packed with an extremely important feature: the ability to use the Vision Pro as a virtual display for your Mac in ultra-wide mode.

I really wish there was Apple Intelligence support for Vision Pro in some shape or form. But Apple’s silence is painting a very strange picture. It’s clear AI is not coming to the headset and instead will be a part of a newer model with the M5.
