The official Passwords add-on for the Firefox browser is now available for download.

Enter Passwords or Generate Verification Codes Using the Official Passwords Add-On for Firefox

Apple released the official Passwords app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac with the release of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sierra. It’s a smart move and a meaningful one, too.

Today, Apple is taking the journey one step further by releasing the official Passwords add-on for the Firefox web browser.

Once the add-on is installed, you will be able to fill passwords stored in your iCloud Keychain in websites where necessary. The add-on will also generate verification codes wherever needed, too.

Right-click on a QR code, and you can instantly have the Passwords add-on generate codes for you for that particular website. It’s that convenient.

You need macOS Sonoma or later in order to use the extension and you can download it by going to this link.
