Here’s how you can download and install macOS 15.3 Sequoia public beta 1 for Mac with Genmoji.
First Public Beta of macOS 15.3 Sequoia Now Available for Download with Genmoji
Released as a developer-only beta on Monday, macOS 15.3 Sequoia is now available for download for public beta testers as well.
In order to download the new update, just go to beta.apple.com using Safari. Once the website has loaded up, sign up to it using the same Apple Account which you are using on your Mac.
Once the sign-up is complete, launch System Settings, go to General > Software Update. Click on Beta Updates and then select macOS Sequoia Public Beta from the drop-down menu.
Once the beta has been selected, you can download it from the Software Update page.
In terms of features, you can expect Genmoji. Apart from that, bug fixes and other under-the-hood improvements can be expected too.
As with any beta update, there’s a chance you may run into several bugs in some places. Bad battery life on a MacBook may even be expected, and I’m sure you know that already.
Since we are into the holiday season, don’t expect the second beta to arrive before January at least. This means if you run into a major bug, it will be fixed after the holidays, not before.
The chances of that happening are low since macOS 15.3 is not a big update at all.
