visionOS 2.2 is a pretty solid update for Vision Pro, as it brings an extremely crucial feature to the headset.
That feature improves upon the already-existing Mac Virtual Display and adds ultra-wide support, allowing you to work in an ultra-wide desktop mode in your Vision Pro.
This feature is perfect for those who want a massive display but have limited desk space. Not only that, since you’re doing everything in Vision Pro, your privacy is protected as well.
In order to use this feature, just download visionOS 2.2 on your Vision Pro by following these steps:
- Launch the Settings app.
- Go to General > Software Update.
- Wait for the page to refresh and download visionOS 2.2 when it becomes available.
The update may take a while to download and install. Just leave your Vision Pro on a table until installation is complete.
Of course, there are bug fixes and other stability improvements in this update as well.
If you have already downloaded and installed visionOS 2.2 RC on your Vision Pro, you shouldn’t bother about today’s release at all.
