A new report says that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro lineup will keep the triangular camera layout.

Apple is Reportedly Not Moving Away from the Triangular Camera Layout with iPhone 17 Pro

With iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, Apple went ahead with a triangle shaped layout for the rear-facing cameras.

Since then, Apple hasn’t changed a thing, except that the camera bump itself has grown in size, thanks to the ever-increasing size of sensors and lenses.

However, rumor has it that the iPhone 17 Pro will have a rectangular camera bump, and its cameras will be aligned horizontally in a straight line.

But, a leaker from Weibo has jumped in and said Apple is keeping the triangular configuration for the iPhone 17 Pro, and nothing has changed on that end.

So, which one is it then? Horizontal or triangular? Honestly, I don’t care at all as long as it works well and ‘looks’ brand new compared to whatever it is Apple is selling right now.

At this point in time, it’s too early to speculate and believe in reports like these. It will be a while until we start to see concrete reports regarding iPhone 17 rather than just whispers.

But, there are a few things that definitely stand out. For example, Apple is working on a very thin iPhone called the iPhone 17 Air or iPhone 17 Slim.

The thinner model is definitely going to be the star of the show next year, even if it’s released alongside the high-end iPhone 17 Pro.
