A new report says that the iPhone SE 4 will feature a single 48-megapixel camera at the back and a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera at the front.

iPhone SE 4 will Feature a Single 48-Megapixel Camera at the Back and a 12-Megapixel TrueDepth Camera at the Front

According to ET News, Apple is securing these cameras from LG Innotek and will also sources parts from Foxconn and Cowell Electronics.

That 48-megapixel camera at the back is an extremely smart choice, as it will give photographers and videographers flexibility when it comes to zooming in.

Currently, Apple is using the 48-megapixel sensor in its smartphone lineup to provide a 2x crop whenever needed without losing quality. So basically, the iPhone SE 4 will have ‘zoom’ capabilities even though it’s just a crop.

A 48-megapixel camera is the perfect choice for shooting photos in HEIF Max format, something I love doing pretty much every single day. It uses the full sensor to shoot a photo, resulting in amazingly sharp images every single time.

With a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera at the front, Apple is bringing Face ID tech to its cheapest iPhone in the lineup. And a 12-megapixel sensor also means you can shoot great photos and videos using it.

Apart from the above, we know that the iPhone SE 4 will feature Apple Intelligence, which automatically means 8GB of RAM onboard along with the powerful A18 chip.

The device is said to use an OLED display and will even ship with Apple’s very own 5G modem.
