Apple just posted its financial results for Q1 2025, and it beats Q1 2024 by a big margin.

Q1 2025 Results Show Apple is Still in the Game with Huge Revenue of $124.3 Billion

For Q1 2025, Apple posted a revenue of $124.3 billion with a profit of $36.3 billion. And, compared to Q1 of 2024, Apple posted a revenue of $119.6 billion with a profit of $33.9 billion.

That’s an increase of 4% over last year.

An interesting thing to note here is this: according to Apple CEO Tim Cook, the iPhone 16 is doing better than the iPhone 15. Looks like Apple Intelligence finally did the trick.

However, in China, the iPhone 16 did not do so well. Tim Cook blames the lack of Apple Intelligence in the country for the drop, which means he’s hoping things will turn around once the company’s AI features roll out in the country.

Another interesting thing revealed in the earnings call is this: Apple currently has 2.35 billion active devices around the world. Yes, devices that are up and running and in use.

I would love to see the complete breakdown of the devices being used around the world – iPhone, iPad, Mac, etc. But Apple hasn’t gone that deep when it comes to that.

In Q1 of 2025, Apple’s iPhone business made a revenue of $69.14 billion, Mac brought in $8.99 billion, iPad managed $8.08 billion, services was at $26.34 billion, while everything else, which includes Apple Watch, HomePod, accessories, and more, was $11.75 billion.

While Apple has posted great revenue, do keep in mind that overall growth has slowed down. It remains to be seen how Apple is going to turn this around.

Apple Intelligence might have done the trick for the iPhone, but does the company have another trick up its sleeve to keep the momentum going?
