iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 Public Beta 2 Now Available with Same Changes as Developer Beta 2, Download Now
Apple has just released iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 public beta 2, which is the same build as developer beta 2. If you’ve been testing out the public beta for a while, make sure you update to beta 2 by following these steps:
- Ensure your device has 50% or more battery remaining.
- Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
- Launch the ‘Settings’ app.
- Go to General > Software Update.
- Tap on ‘Update Now’ when the second beta shows up.
Installation may take a while, just make sure you do not fiddle around with your iPhone and iPad during the time. When everything is complete, you can start using your device normally.
If you’re new, you can sign up for the public beta immediately. You’ll find all the necessary steps by going to this link.
iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 do not include any new features at all. Instead, Apple is focusing on fixing a ton of bugs and improving the stability of iPhone and iPad devices around the globe.
Given the barrage of features Apple has been releasing for a while, it’s good to see Apple taking a small break from things and letting people get to grips with the brand-new AI features.
Though there’s no official word yet, it seems as though Apple will release the final version of iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 by the end of this month. Once that is done, Apple will reportedly release iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 after a short while.
