Give Your Lock Screen the Desert Makeover with the Dunes Wallpaper Pack for iPhone
It’s the weekend, folks. This means you get to download a brand-new set of wallpapers for your iPhone. This time I did something which I promised myself not to do – use AI.
That’s right, I conjured up some dunes using Image Playground on the Mac, and I had a blast creating these because Apple Intelligence can be extremely unpredictable at times.
As someone who finds fascination with deserts, since we have no idea what’s underneath all that sand, this wallpaper pack was definitely coming at some point.
There are three wallpapers in the pack – two are light and one is sort of dark but black and white.
I dialed down the exposure of the dark version of the wallpaper so that it doesn’t get too bright when used with dark theme icons on the Home Screen.
You may want to edit the wallpaper yourself using the Photos app if you think it’s a little too bright for you.

All wallpapers are compatible with the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which means they’ll fit all smaller iPhones just fine.
If you want to spice things up, make sure you play around with different ‘Styles’ in the wallpaper editor before applying them.
I’ll sum this up by saying this – though Image Playground is fun to use, I wouldn’t try something like this again anytime soon.
