Today I will show you how you can schedule posts for later in the Threads app for iPhone.

Threads Now Lets You Schedule Posts up to 75 Days in Advance, Here’s How to Use it on iPhone

Threads is rolling out the ability to schedule posts for later. You can schedule posts up to 75 days in advance, too.

This works on both the iPhone and the web. But I’ll cover how it works on the iPhone, and the steps are the same on the web.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1. Launch the Threads app on your iPhone.

Step 2. Create a new post by pressing the + button at the bottom.

Step 3. Write anything in the post.

Step 4. Tap on the ‘three dots’ on the top right.

Step 5. Tap on ‘Schedule.’

Step 6. Select the date and time and then tap on ‘Schedule.’

As I mentioned before, the steps on the web are exactly the same.

There is one thing you should keep in mind: Threads currently does not allow users to schedule replies to posts. You can only create a brand-new post using this feature only.

The feature may be introduced later, but it’s not available at the time of writing this tutorial.

As someone has been using Threads for quite some time now, I’m glad post scheduling is finally here. It’s a feature that makes so much sense, as it will allow creators to keep on publishing content when they are taking a break.

While these features are great, the next logical step should be this: launch an iPad app. Currently, it’s just the iPhone app blown up on a big screen. It does not look great at all.

Alternatively, you can just use it in Safari, which is not the same thing as using a native app, no matter how much you convince yourself that it is.

If we are looking for trends here, I believe the iPad app should arrive in the future soon. It just makes so much sense at this point. Especially if the social network plans to go after the likes of X or Bluesky.
