iOS 17.7.4 and iPadOS 17.7.4 RC updates are now available for download if you have a compatible iPhone or iPad.

It’s absolutely bonkers that Apple is still allowing users to stay on iOS 17 and iPadOS 17.
With the release of iOS 17.7.4 and iPadOS 17.7.4 RC, you can rest assured you can keep on avoiding iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 for whatever reason you may have for slightly longer.
I’ll be completely bamboozled if Apple goes all the way till the announcement of iOS 19 and iPadOS 19 and keep on seeding new iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 updates.
Anyway, iOS 17.7.4 and iPadOS 17.7.4 RC is now available for download, and if you’ve been testing out the update on iPhone and iPad, you too can grab it by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
You can download the new updates next week on your iPhone and iPad. Do keep in mind that these updates patch a lot of important security flaws that are extremely important for your device.
Do keep in mind that there is no way to downgrade back to iOS 17 or iPadOS 17. If you avoided iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 initially, only then can you stay back.
However, I personally believe iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 are amazing updates which everyone should check out.
If you have no reason to stick around with iOS 17 or iPadOS 17, then update now by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
Apple has also released iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, and macOS 15.3 RC for developers and public beta testers.
