The latest iPhone SE 4 dummy leak shows an interesting little detail – a mute switch instead of the Action Button.
Latest iPhone SE 4 Leak Shows Dummy Unit with Mute Switch, Physical SIM Tray and More
For a long time, the iPhone SE 4 was rumored to ship with the Action Button. However, the latest dummy leak, courtesy of Sonny Dickson, shows there won’t be any Action Button.
Instead, Apple is keeping the mute switch on the iPhone SE 4. This should feel right at home if you prefer the mute switch instead of the Action Button.
When it comes to design, this is definitely the flattened-out iPhone I’ve seen in a long time. With a single camera at the back and flat sides, it definitely looks very uninspiring, and I sort of like that.
You can easily eye a SIM card slot in the photos, which means Apple is definitely keeping that in the iPhone. However, I wouldn’t dig too much into that detail because there is a chance the United States variant of this iPhone might be eSIM only.
Though not shown in the photos, you can expect a USB-C port at the bottom. And at the front, you can expect an OLED display and Face ID.
There is a chance these are extremely early dummy units, hence the mute switch instead of the Action Button. Whatever the end result may be, it’s going to be a fresh new iPhone that doesn’t look anything like the iPhone 8.
The iPhone SE 4, or iPhone 16E, is expected to ship with the A18 chip, 8GB of RAM, Apple’s own 5G modem, and a 48-megapixel camera at the back.
