You can’t download TikTok on your iPhone in the United States, and sellers are seeing this as an opportunity.
TikTok Not Available for Download on the App Store, Just Buy a Used iPhone with the App Pre-Installed for up to $50,000 Instead
Without getting political, here’s what is happening in the United States: TikTok was banned, removed from the App Store, and then it got unbanned, but you can’t download it from the App Store.
As of now, the service is accessible if you have the app installed on your iPhone. But you can’t download it from the App Store at all, and you won’t get updates for the app either.
However, a lot of sellers on eBay are seeing this as an opportunity and are selling iPhones with the TikTok app pre-installed on them.
The prices are absolutely crazy. Some sellers are asking up to $50,000 for it.

Just head over to eBay right now and do a quick search for “iPhone with TikTok installed,” and you’ll find a bunch of listings with out-of-this-world prices.
You’ll find all sorts of iPhones with TikTok installed on them, ranging from an iPhone XR selling for more than $1,000 all the way to the example above.
I have a lot of thoughts right now, but I don’t want to share them. But I did want to share the fallout of banning TikTok -iIt’s ridiculous.
